Big Air Battle

The sporty highlights of this year’s Ski & Boarderweek! You’ll become a witness of a spectacular battle between Board and Freeski riders. The show takes place after dawn, enlighted by wonderful fireworks.

Testarea- for free

In the Test- Area of this year’s Ski and Boarderweek, well known manufacturers of ski and boards show their latest collection for the season 2010/11. There, all Ski& Boarderweek participants can hire and try the equipment for free. Just pick up your test-area-ticket at the check- in on Saturday and borrow the equipment of your desire.

Easy Fun Park/ Snow Park

Depending on your abilities, there are two possibilities to get in touch with rails and kickers in Val Thorens. On the one hand, the Easy Fun Park which will especially be shaped for the Ski & Boarderweek, allows you to try your first tricks. If you´re more advanced, the Snowpark Val Thorens is the right place to be to mess with other riders!

Freestyle Coaching

In 2010, our Freestyle Coaches will give you all support needed to learn the “first steps” on rails, kickers and boxes in the Easy- Funpark. On the date of your arrival during check- in time or at the test area on all the other days, you can inscribe yourself to join the coaching for free! There are also photographers and film- crews sneaking around the coachings, propably your chance to get your first action- shot!

Contests

Feeling safe enough to show what you´ve learned after the coaching? Don´t be afraid to participate in your first contest, the goodies- for- trix session, where you can earn cool stuff for the best trick (besides the fame)…

Furthermore, the daily Ski& Boardercross contest allows you to mess with your friends and other participants. At the end of the week, the best time will be honoured with nice gifts at the award ceremony!

Fun Sport Area

In the funsport area, a big air bags will be waiting for you, making sure that even the most reckless jump end up in a soft landing. Besides the bags, there will be some more funny happenings taking place around “Place Caron”, where skills on ski or board aren´t actually necessary...

Freeride College

maximum freeride- fun at minimum risk!

The „Freeride- College @ Ski & Boarderweek“ offers an easy and safe access to the world of freeriding. Certificated and experienced Ski- and Snowboardguides teach the common security standards and show magnificent off- piste varieties.

Duration: 1 ½ days of practice, one evening of theoretics.

Price: 59€ p.p including the use of rescue- equipment and test- ski

Girls Connected Camp

Especially for girls, there will be some extra offers coming with our „girls connected“ package. Besides Ski- Area Guiding, Coaching, Dinner and a wellness- afternoon, the package contains lodging in comfort- appartments of Balcons de Val Thorens.

It´s also possible to book the Camp without lodging, only 50€ make you join the party.
